Hello World!!

Thanks for visiting my new web page! Mommy and daddy will be posting pictures of me here as often as they can. They are so proud of me and love showing me off.

Today was a big day for me. Mom and dad woke me up early to get ready for a doctor's appointment. I had to go see my pediatrician to make sure I am gaining weight okay. Good news . . . I am!! Dr. Orr said I gained 11 ounces in only 8 days! I now weigh 6 lbs and 6 oz! Mommy now calls me her chunky monkey (but her favorite nickname for me will always be "nugget").

After that we headed over to the hospital to see the breastfeeding specialist. I don't always like to nurse, so mommy is trying really hard to find a way to make it easier for me.

Right now I am resting after such a big day. Sleeping is my second favorite thing to do . . . after eating of course! I also like to smile a lot and kick out of my duckie blanket that daddy works so hard to wrap me up tight in.I am excited about my very first Fourth of July holiday, which is coming up. Mommy said she is going to dress me in a really embarrassing outfit for the occasion. I am still hoping she changes her mind.
